There are calls for equal priority to be given to all flood risk areas in Donegal.
Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher has been reacting to the funding allocations announced yesterday as part of the CFRAMs programme.
Almost €6million is to be investment in flood relief infrastructure in Lifford while other smaller scale flood relief projects for Downings, Glenties and Kerrykeel have also been included in the rollout.
Deputy Gallagher says he will be challenging the Minister next week as to why other flood risk areas of the county were omitted in this funding announcement:
