Twin Towns residents concerned over on-going traffic delays


Concern has been raised by a number of residents in the Twin Towns over the impact on-going road works are having on traffic flow in the area.
Work is continuing on a new footbridge between Ballybofey and Stranorlar while upgraded works are also being carried out in the Cappry area.
While the footbridge is to be opened soon, other necessary works on the bridge arei expected to resume in the Autumn.
Cathoairleach of the Stranorlar Municipal District Cllr Patrick McGowan says while the delays are unfortunate, the work is essential and will benefit the area in the long run.
