Storm Ali has arrived, bringing gale force winds and gusts over 130 kilometres an hour.
An orange wind warning is in place for Donegal and most of the country until 1 o’clock this afternoon.
Strong winds will be along Atlantic coasts at first before moving eastwards later this morning.
