Unwanted stock-piles of tyres will be removed from farms across the country over the next three weeks.
The Government’s rolling out a scheme to help farmers get rid of tyres that used to be stored for holding silage covers down – before new systems were introduced.
Environment Minister Denis Naughten says collection points are being set up around the country – starting today at Cootehill Mart in County Cavan:
