It’s been confirmed that the additional bus allocated for pupils travelling from Termon and Kilmacrennan to school in Milford will come into operation today.
Minister John Halligan signed off on a ministerial order last week, officially granting the allocation of the bus to cater for over 30 students who failed to secure school transport for the current school year.
However, it is not yet known if the bus will serve all affected children as those eligible will be granted a place on the bus first with seats thereafter allocated on a concessionary basis.
