New tourism campaign to focus on lesser known attractions


Tourism Ireland is to pump an additional 10 million euro into attracting overseas visitors here next year.
45 million euro will be spent overall and a new global campaign will be launched.
11.2 million people will have visited Ireland by the end of 2018, spending over 6 billion euro while here.
CEO of Tourism Ireland, Niall Gibbons says the new campaign will focus on the lesser known attractions the country has to offer.
