There were 45 people awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the INMO, 12 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
The Letterkenny figure is six down on yesterday, but it remains the second most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today, with just seven less than Limerick.
Nationally, the INMO says there were there were 534 admitted patients awaiting beds at hospitals across the country this morning.
