It was a disappointing weekend for the North West sides in the All Ireland League 2C with City of Derry and Omagh both being defeated.
City of Derry were defeated 33-5 away at Clonmel.
At half-time Clonmel led 7-5 but a strong second half showing from them saw them claim a 28 point win.
Midleton came from behind to claim a 19-15 win after Omagh led 12-0 at half time.
In the Pro14 there were wins for Munster and Leinster.
