And a number of charity fund raising efforts took place on Sunday to mark what would have been the London Marathon.
People who would have taken part either walked, ran or exercised for 2-point-6 miles, 26 miles or 26 minutes.
One of those was Liam McHugh from Spamount in Castlederg. He ran the full marathon distance around the county Tyrone village in 3 hours and 31 minutes in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
He raised £30,000 this year bringing his total to over £250,000 for the charity.
Well done Liam.
