Dog fouling ‘epidemic’ in Strabane

 

A Strabane Councillor has described an increase in dog fouling in the area as an epidemic.
Councillor Michaela Boyle says there has been a surge in dog foul being left on walking routes.
Councillor Boyle has put forward proposals to council to introduce additional initiatives to prevent dog fouling, they include; more bins and signage as well as cameras in particular problem areas.
She is calling on dog owners to take more responsibility:
