£4M funding package confirmed to secure Derry flight to London

 

A £4 million funding package has been confirmed to secure the operation of Derry Airport’s flight to London until 2023.
The Northern Ireland Executive announced the funding for the public service route for the next two years.
Foyle MLA Martina Anderson says this will provide a much-needed boost for the airport but she believes the Irish Government must also support the airport financially as the service is used by many across the North West:
