There are vital points at stake on Friday night as Derry City welcome St Pats to the Brandywell for a key top four clash (KO 7.45).

Joe Thomson is back in the fold but James Akintunde will miss the game having gone over his quota of yellow cards while Mark Walsh will not feature again.

Three points for Derry and a favourable result in the Shamrock Rovers v Sligo Rovers game and the Candystrips would be just a point of third place.

City boss Ruairdhri Higgins has been looking forward to the game with Kevin McLaughlin
