HISCo, the Housing Infrastructure Services Company is to be asked to make a presentation to members of the Letterkenny Milford Municipal District to discuss how it can help speed up house construction in the area.
The company was set up to help developers provide infrastructure, including roads, footpaths, cycle lanes, water and wastewater facilities and other amenities.
Cllr McBride says there is a need for thousands of new homes in Letterkenny, not least because of the impending Mica demolition and rebuild programme.
