There were 29 people awaiting beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, three of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
According to the INMO’s Trolley Watch report, the figure at Sligo University Hospital was even higher, with 34 admitted patients awaiting beds there, 25 of them in the ED.
In total, there were 520 people awaiting beds across the country this morning.
