€9 million is to be invested in Killybegs harbour this year, with €5.5m set aside for the Smooth Point pier extension.
Agriculture and Marine Minister Charlie McConalogue says the allocation is part of a €35m programme for capital projects in Ireland’s six state-owned Fishery Harbour Centres this year.
