The LYIT Ladies Gaelic Football team will contest the colleges Moynihan Cup Final following their 2-9 to 2-7 win over UCC of Cork in Tuesday’s semi final.
Nadine Friel and Emma Howe scored the goals for Katie Herron’s side while Aimee McIntyre and Derbhille Connolly stepped up with two points a piece.
Julie Trearty, Lauren McBride, Katie Long and Emer O’Neill also got on the scoresheet against the Cork outfit.
LYIT advance to the Moynihan Cup decider on Friday week 11th March at 4pm in DCU.
