Wind energy provided over half of Ireland’s electricity in February, reaching a record high.
A report by Wind Energy Ireland shows wind was also the number one source of electricity throughout the month.
The price of wholesale electricity decreased during the windiest periods of February, aided by several storms which passed over Ireland.
