A Lifford Stranorlar area councillor says the continued delays with the Twin Towns by-pass are frustrating, but Donegal County Council will continue to push it, and the other two Ten-T road projects in Donegal – the Letterkenny Link Road and the Manorcunningham to Lifford Road.
It’s after a recent meeting of the council’s Roads Strategic Policy Committee was told that rising costs and other issues mean it’s likely to be five years before the projects start.
Cllr Patrick McGowan says while there was some easing of traffic during the Covid restrictions, traffic levels are now back to their peak in Ballybofey and Stranorlar…………
