Lucy McGlynn began her World U20 Championships in Columbia on Tuesday with a solid run in the 400m hurdles heats.
The Tir Chonaill athlete ran 1:00.30, just shy of her personal best and narrowly missed out on qualification for the semi finals.
Her championships in Cali are not over as Lucy will be back on track on Thursday in the women’s 100m hurdles.
