Plans in place to protect against flooding in East Donegal

Donegal County Council has confirmed that plans are in place in the event of flooding in East Donegal.

Councillor Gerry Crawford raised concerns at the recent meeting of the Lifford Stranorlar Municipal District as Ballybofey, Castlefinn and Lifford continue to be under threat.

Councillor Crawford has welcomed the confirmation and is confident the flood mitigation plans in place will be adequate:
