A police car was damaged in the Cromore Cromore Gardens area of Derry last evening.
Damage was caused to both of the vehicle’s wing mirrors and to its body work after stones and bricks were thrown at it by up to 10 individuals, some of whom were masked.
Police day the attack happened as officers were dealing with a domestic-related matter in the area.
Meanwhile, plice are investigating an incident at 1am yesterday morning on the Altinure Road at Claudy in which a man sustained a leg injury after an incident involving a tractor.
The victim was subsequently taken to hospital by NIAS for treatment.
Police are appealing to anyone with dash cam footage or information about either incident to come forward.
