The President has visited Letterkenny Fire Station.
Michael D Higgins met members of the fire service last evening as part of his plans while in Donegal to meet the emergency services who worked at the scene of the Creeslough explosion.
Speaking yesterday, the President said that he wanted to thank all those who played a part in the rescue and recovery operation on ‘behalf of the people of Ireland.’
