Donegal County Council’s Working Holiday Campaign is being launched today.
Building on the success of last years campaign, one voucher per person will be offered to experience a remote working hub in the county.
The Working Holiday initiative which will run until October, provides the opportunity to enjoy everything Donegal has to offer during the summer months while also availing of a remote working opportunity in a range of locations across the county.
After registration, remote workers will receive a FREE day pass to work in a participating hub.
In collaboration with Healthy Ireland, a community reward platform is also being established, aimed at increasing time spent in outdoor, local recreational spaces across Donegal to incentivise social inclusion.
People “earn” civic dollars through physical activity and can redeem them in participating businesses.
The local authority is suggesting each participating home organise a weekly social inclusion activity.
Meanwhile, once a month remote workers will have the opportunity to meet in one a specific local outdoor recreational space to engage in a physical activity.
