Derry claimed top spot in Group 4 of the All Ireland Series after they beat Clare 1-20 to 1-13 in Longford.
At half time the sides were level 0-9 to 1-06.
Benny Herron then netted to put 1-14 1-07 on 48 minutes to help send the Oakleafers on their way to victory.
