Business Matters: Ep 177, Eugene Gallen – Bon Appetit

On Business Matters this week, Chris Ashmore speaks with Lifford man Eugene Gallen who set up Bon Appetit in June 2021. The company produces a range of cooked ready meals and has seen considerable growth in a short space of time.

Bon Appetit manufactures and supplies in bulk to retailers such as Supervalu, Spar and Centra as well as many local stores across the North and South of Ireland and produces meals fresh daily delivering them into the stores.

It is currently moving into new premises in Letterkenny, which were occupied many years ago by Boston Scientific. This will allow the company to increase production fourfold from 6,000 to 25,000 meals a week.
