A man is due in court in Derry today charged with assault on police.
The 29 year old faces further charges of resisting police, criminal damage, possession of a Class B and Class C drug relating to an incident in the Rosskeen Park area of Derry yesterday afternoon.
As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by The Public Prosecution Service.
