A pilot scheme to facilitate the transfer of patients from Letterkenny University Hospital required to attend appointments in Galway is to commence in the coming weeks.
The region’s Chief Ambulance Officer, JJ McGowan has confirmed that the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital group’s bus will be used to facilitate the attendance of outpatient appointments in Galway.
The service will operate on a five day, Monday to Friday service basis.
