Gardaí have confirmed they have received a complaint in relation to Gymnastics Ireland.
Highland Radio news queried reports heard that an individual is being investigated due to allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
In their response Gardaí say they have received a complaint in Donegal and an investigation is ongoing but no further information is available at this time.
Meanwhile Gymnastics Ireland said the individual in question has been suspended as per their policies and standard procedure.
The spokesperson also said while this investigation is underway no further comment is available however they remain in contact with the relevant authorities.
