In Doochary, local community activist Andrea Redmond has called for the addition of the Leiter Road outside the village to the council’s gritting programme.
She says the use of the road has grown in recent years, and there are many villages across the county which would have similar arguments for roads in their area………
Councillor Michael McClafferty says the reality is that adding an additional route to the winter gritting programme will be at the expense of another.
