A Midlands North West MEP says opposition to the Mercosur deal must be a red line in Government formation talks.
Ciaran Mullooly has described the deal as “an immediate threat to Irish farmers, rural communities, and the EU’s own environmental and legal integrity.”
He has written to Independent TDs in the North West and Midlands, calling on them to take a stand against the deal.
