Recent data analysis by Virgin Media Ireland, examining a range of films and television productions, has identified Donegal as the fifth most popular filming location within Ireland.
The county has served as a backdrop for 13 productions included in the research, with locations such as Slieve League and Malin Head proving particularly popular.
These locations have gained international recognition, notably through their feature in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
