There has been widespread shock today following a fire at Doagh Famine Village yesterday evening.
It’s understood at least two sections of the village have been fully destroyed as the full extent of the damage is being assessed.
No one was injured in the blaze and the Famine Village is expected to remain closed for an extended period.
Gardaí say foul play is not suspected at this time.
