€243,737.08 has been awarded to Donegal to support five under the 2026 Community Monuments Fund.
Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher welcomed the funding saying it will help develop communities and preserve local heritage.
Magheragallen Church and Graveyard, alongside Assaroe Abbey, have received the highest allocation, with O’Donnell Castle, Dunkineely Digital Heritage Trail, and Doon Fort also receiving support.
