A west Donegal Cllr has expressed concern as funding earmarked for the county’s coastal and island communities has yet to be released.
€1.3m of funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development helps for planning, studies and building infrastructure for the communities.
Cllr Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig says this funding should be released earlier in the year to allow time for proper planning and work.
He says as it is late in the year it puts work at risk:
