Security alert on Derry’s Racecourse Road

There’s another security alert in Derry this morning, this time in the vicinity  of the Racecourse Road. Police and army  personnel are at the scene. There are diversions in place in the area.
Meanwhile, police say a device found close to a van in Maghera in County Derry yesterday morning had partially exploded.
The owner of the van spotted the object in the Willow Glynn area shortly after 8 o’clock.
