Motorcyclist who died in fatal crash yesterday in Castlequarter named locally

The motorcyclist who died in a fatal collision on the main Burnfoot – Buncrana road yesterday evening has been named locally as Eddie McIntyre of Craigtown, Fahan. He was in his fifties.
The crash happened at around 5:30pm in the townland of Castlequarter when a car and a motorcycle collided.
Mr McIntyre was pronounced dead a short time later.
