Section 39 workers to strike on Friday

SIPTU says hundreds of public sector representatives in Section 39 organisations will go on strike on Friday in a dispute over pay.
The union says workers in areas such as homecare and dementia and Alzheimer services are low paid and have endured pay cuts of six per cent and a reduction in working hours.
Strikes will continue to be rolled out on a phased basis across the country.
