A man has been arrested following an alleged discharge of a firearm in the Raphoe area yesterday.
Gardai responded to the incident yesterday morning at around 9:30am.
The man in his 50s was arrested in connection with the incident and is currently detained at Letterkenny Garda Station.
Gardai have confirmed that no one was injured.
A technical examination of the scene is currently underway and investigations are ongoing.
