The Department of Health has reported a further 1,049 new cases of Covid-19.
Latest figures show the country’s 14-day incidence rate has dropped to 379 per 100,000 people.
It’s highest in Monaghan, Donegal, Louth and Carlow – and lowest in Wicklow, where the rate is only 168.
310 people are in hospital with the virus – an increase of 14 in the past 24 hours.
66 people are being treated in ICU – up 1 in the same period.
