A Letterkenny Councillor says the traffic disruption experienced in Letterkenny today is further proof that the long discussed Bonagee Link is very necessary and should be fast tracked.
The Ballyraine and Ramelton Road areas in particular have experienced significant delays today because resurfacing work has seen the N56 Four Lane road reduced to one lane outbound between the Polestar and Dry Arch Roundabouts.
The work is set to continue until tomorrow week, April 29th.
Cllr Gerry McMonagle says if there were to be an emergency, access into and out of the town could be a major issue……….
