Gardaí in Castlefin are investigating a number of thefts in the Convoy area.
Between June 5th and 13th five benches were stolen from various locations on the outskirts of Convoy.
Gardai say a lot of hard work and fundraising goes into accessing and maintaining amenities in any town and incidents such as these are a huge disappointment to everybody who works so hard to make their community a better place to live in.
They are eager to progress the investigation and are appealing to anyone who has any information in relation to the thefts of the benches or the current location of them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny.
