Revised opening hours have been announced for the garda station in Ballybofey.
Following queries from Cllr Patrick McGowan at a recent JPC meeting, it’s been confirmed that the Garda Station will be open on Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm, and from 2pm to 4pm.
It will open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 1 if a Garda is available, but the station will have to be closed if Gardaí need to respond to a call during this time.
Cllr McGowan has given the confirmation a cautious welcome, saying this is very busy station which covers a long land border with Northern Ireland.
