Ireland records strong tax growth in Q3 of 2024

Strong tax growth has been recorded in the third quarter of the year.

Tax revenue to the end of September stood at over €68 billion, that’s an increase of nearly €7 billion on the same period last year.

Corporation tax receipts of almost €18 billion euro are ahead of 2023 by €3.4 billion.

An exchequer surplus of €5 billion was recorded to the end of September.
