Almost half the number of commencement notices were issued for homes in Donegal last month when compared to the same time in 2024.
A total of 71 commencement notices were issued in the county in March, down from 138 last year.
Nationally, there have been less than 3,000 commencements up to March this year, down from just under 12,000 in the same period last year.
