Two cars have been seized across the county in recent days.
On Tuesday morning last, gardaí in Buncrana deployed a stinger device after a car failed to stop at a checkpoint.
The car was seized and investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile days prior, gardaí in the Ballybofey and Convoy areas received multiple reports of a car being driven in a dangerous manner.
Gardaí located the car on Tuesday and discovered it had false plates.
