Donegal woman Paula Harvey has been named Ireland’s 2025 Heritage Hero.
The prestigious Heritage Council national award recognises a lifetime of dedication to preserving and celebrating Ireland’s heritage.
Ms Harvey has dedicated more than four decades to preserving and celebrating heritage, beginning her career in the early 1980s having served as Field Monument Officer with Donegal County Council.
Speaking ahead of today’s ceremony, she says she never dreamed she would receive such recognition:
