Direct fines could be on the way for people caught using ‘dodgy-boxes’.
The move is being considered by large TV rights holders like Sky, according to the Irish Independent.
It follows a recent crackdown in Italy, which saw thousands of people fined at least 150 euro for illegally-streaming TV and movies.
Yesterday, three people, allegedly involved in selling ‘dodgy-boxes’, were found liable for damages to Sky by the High Court.
