The PSNI has confirmed that an investigation is ongoing after an elected representative of Derry City and Strabane District Council wore a T-shirt bearing a pro-Palestinian slogan to a council meeting.
It’s understood that the investigation has been launched on the grounds that the action may have been in violation of the Terrorism Act 2000.
The meeting, which took place a number of months ago, was streamed online.
