A rare endangered whale, which was first recorded in Donegal, has been spotted for the second time in the US.
The North Atlantic Right Whale had made its first sighting off of Slieve League in 2024.
Researchers from the US Centre for Coastal Studies have confirmed the same species was spotted in Massachusetts in November.
The whale is considered one of the most critically endangered of its kind, with only approximately 380 remaining.
