Investigations are continuing after a motorist failed to stop for Gardaí yesterday morning.
Buncrana Gardaí and Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were conducting a crime prevention checkpoint in the border area.
One driver failed to stop when signalled to do so and continued to drive dangerously through the checkpoint.
The stinger device was successfully deployed.
The uninsured vehicle in question was later located abandoned and it was seized.
